It all started with a walk in the woods and a gallery full of mushroom photos. What began as Inktober 2025 line drawings evolved into something more – a daily creative practice that taught me as much about colour and patience as it did about fungi.
After spending so much time creating patterns and abstract watercolour paintings, I found myself drawn to these quiet little wonders of the forest floor. One mushroom a day became my routine: a chance to study colour theory, explore form, and simply slow down.
